BB-119 ~ Death Quetzalcoatl 125RDF

Sorry guys for not posting around last week, but this is what I was supposed to post last week. Another starter bey unboxing. Yep, a bey from the 4D system, Death Quetzalcoatl!

4D Death Quetzalcoatl 125RDF
BBG-119 - Takara Tomy
Information: Death Quetzalcoatl (Starter)
  • Type: Balance
  • Release: October 23, 2011 (Japan)
Information about Quetzalcoatl's own box.
The box includes ~
  • Face Bolt: Quetzalcoatl - Basically Quetzalcoatl is a serpent with wings and has it's face sticking out it's tongue to the left on a non-printed, golden facebolt.
  • 4D Clear Wheel: Quetzalcoatl - It is transparent gold in color. Like 4D clear wheels, it has something on the clear wheel (powder?) to make it heavier.
  •  4D Metal Wheel: Death
  • Metal Frame: Upper layer of the wheel. It gives Death between Atk. and Def.
  • Core: Lower layer of the wheel. It supports it's own metal frame to change modes.
  • Track: 125 - Red in color. A normal 125 track
  • Bottom: RDF - Red in color. A balance bottom which is like a WD bottom with rubber on its center with a flat tip like that of RSF.
Quetzalcoatl is one of the best balance type beys. It's bottom functions like RSF. It circles the stadium with a fast and aggressive movement and goes into a defense position. But when I launch it strong, it goes fast and aggressive and loses spin when it gets slower. I prefer it in Defense Mode to avoid this.

It also has it's own exclusive parts:

The 4D Clear Wheel. It design has 2 snakes on it with some 4 sets of wings. It also has black highlights (stickers).

The 4D Metal Wheel, Death. It can change between Attack and Defense Mode. In Attack Mode, it is raised up and will look like a crown and a wall and more attack-type looking. In Defense mode, it is flipped over and it covers the gaps. It looks smaller on Defense Mode and taller on Attack. And also like I said earlier, I prefer it in Defense mode. :)

And, it's bottom. RDF. It's a combination of Attack and Defense. Because it is flat, it makes Quetzalcoatl aggressive until it goes to the center of the stadium to perform a defense position.

I tried battling it with a Variares. It won, I did not expect this, haha.

Overall, Death Quetzalcoatl is a nice balance type bey. It has a combination of the 3 types, Attack, Defense and Stamina. Why stamina? Because it has some stamina on it even though it's a rubber flat. A good bey to have on your collection actually (:

Good news ~ Zero-G has not ended

(You've might notice that I posted this on April, it's not an April Fools joke! It's real, look it up by yourself.)

I've heard this around beyblade wikis, on YouTube and some other blogs. I've checked it out and I was glad, but Hasbro (and Nelvana) is only releasing the other episodes when the english dub of Zero-G (Shogun Steel) is released.

Hasbro is going to release the new beys too. Sadly, Takara Tomy can't release one until further notice.

Our country only supports Takara Tomy and Hasbro. So no more new beys for us (we already have every Zero-G beys even sets)

BB-109 ~ Random Booster Vol 7 - Beat Lynx

Our Easter Shopping was great, but our Christmas shopping was more great. It was a larger beyhunt that our Easter one.

I noticed we didn't have any Beat Lynx or any Random Booster 7 bey, so we got to shopping for the Easter. (It ended and now we have to go shopping again for the 1st of April. lol not really)

Metal Fury 4D Beat Lynx/Random Booster Vol 7
BB-109 - Takara Tomy
Information: Beat Lynx (RARE)
  • Type: Balance
  • Release: April 23, 2011 (Japan)
First I'll give information about Beat Lynx' own box.
It includes:
  • Face Bolt: Lynx - Has the printed face of something like a Cheetah animal on a golden facebolt.
  • 4D Clear Wheel: Lynx - Transparent and bronze in color.
  • 4D Metal Wheel: Beat
  • PC Frame: It gives Beat the ability to change modes between Atk and Def. Bronze in color.
  • Core: It is a core that is like a metal wheel. It makes the metal wheel more powerful.
  • Track: TH170 - Bronze in color as well. Can change into three different heights, thus Triple Height.
  • Bottom: WD - Bronze too again. An overused tip but makes Lynx more powerful.
Beat Lynx is a good balance type bey. It wins against most of my beys, but others beat it easily.
Beat Lynx has it's own exlcusive parts, which are:

It's 4D Clear Wheel. It has two sides which support the Beat Metal Wheel.

The 4D Metal Wheel. It has two parts, the PC Frame and the Core. Beat has two modes, Attack Mode and Defense Mode. Rotating it across the metal frame of the core will change modes. When in attack mode, there are 2 things that are like the ears of Lynx will be shown. Then when you rotate the PC Frame, it will change in Defense Mode, and Lynx' ears will be not shown. I prefer it in Attack Mode as it is stronger in that mode.

It's Track, Triple Height 170. It change change between three heights - 170, 195 and 220. To change the track, rotate the track and pull it down and rotate again.
Alright so the Random Booster Vol 7 includes other beys in different boxes like all RBs. I did got an other bey as we bought 2 random boosters. The one was Beat Lynx and the other was Cyclone Horuseus. I wasn't expecting this, but I needed a RSF tip.
  • Beat Lynx TH170WD (Random Booster 7's Rare)
  • Vulcan Horogium BD145RS
  • Vulcan Herculeo 130DS
  • Hell Horuseus 85RS
  • Cyclone Horuseus 130RSF
  • Hell Herculeo 100XF
  • Gravity Perseus BD145XF
  • Gravity Perseus 85DS
TIPS on how to get Beat Lynx:
  1. Beat Lynx' box does not have any cardboard. And it weighs 80.58 grams.
  2. If you are allowed to, open the RB7 box. Check which bey it is by looking at it's stickers. Do not open the black plastic which contain the parts.

BBG-27 ~ Gladiator Bahamdia SP230GF

Hey guys, this is my first blog post. I've been beyblading for 3 years (Metal Fight Beyblade) and 1 year (Plastic series).

Anyway, later with the introduction.

Zero-G Gladiator Bahamdia SP230GF
BBG-27 - Takara Tomy
Information
  • Type: Balance
  • Element: God
  • Release: December 1, 2012 (Japan)

So I bought a Gladiator Bahamdia last night. It was pretty cheap.
The box includes ~
  • Stone Face: Bahamdia - Transparent. Violet color. Non-printed.
  • Chrome Wheel: Bahamdia - Made of metal like all the chrome wheels. Looks more good than Begirados.
  • Crystal Wheel: Gladiator - Transparent like all the crystal wheels. Violet in color like the face.
  • Track: SP230 -  A 230 track that has a large and wide disk with something like claw-shaped spikes, thus Spike 230.
  • Bottom: GF - Another variation of Flat, Giga Flat. It's the widest flat and it's like the flattest bottom in my own opinion.
  • Stickers
  • Instructions
  • Zero-G Compact Launcher and Ripcord
Bahamdia is actually a good bey, especially when it's fighting beys with the same height, and on the Zero-G Stadium. But when it fights lower enemies, Bahamdia's track will be constantly hitten which will make it die quicker.

Gladiator Bahamdia has its own exclusive parts. All of them.
Let's take a look at Bahamdia's Chrome Wheel.

It's Chrome Wheel is actually a good one. It has three sides and when it hits the enemy, it will deal much damage to the enemy. A must-have.

Crystal Wheel. It's design is based on the swords of gladiators, thus Gladiator.

Bahamdia's track is Spike 230. It has some small spikes and a disk which I currently don't know what it does. xD. I think there's a gimmick to this track that might be good. (I haven't battled it with a bey with the same height yet, I will try.)

It's bottom is Giga Flat. It's very wide and is actually a good bottom. It makes Gladiator super fast and ride the stadium tornado ridge and go circle around and around it.

I tried it battling with a Samurai Pegasis of my friend's. Glad it actually won 3 rounds.

Gladiator Bahamdia is a good bey. It has low stamina, but it is aggresive and it can try it's best to win. I don't currently know why it's a Balance-Type,

Pictures will be posted later...
